Ian Fleming, Casino Royale | 1953, an excellent first edition, first impression with the first state dustjacket.
The all-too rare first edition of Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale is key to many a collection and as the first book in the James Bond series, it is one of most in demand books on the market. Interestingly the dustjacket was designed by Ian Fleming himself. To have a first edition, first impression of the text with a first issue of said dustjacket is a notorious rarity and a serious investment piece.

First edition, first impression set, 3 vols, 8vo, original publishers red cloth throughout, each one in fine condition. The red top stain on each is vibrant which is now rare as most are faded. All maps are in pristine condition. All dustjackets are near fine-fine with the odd nick here and there.
