The first novel from the famously prolific author. Pebble in the Sky is part of the Empire series along with The Stars, Like Dust and The Currents of Space. It was published the same year as I, Robot. His most famous novels, comprising the original Foundation trilogy, were published a few years later. In a few short years, Asimov established himself as one of the great names of modern science fiction, alongside authors like Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke.
