Original promotional poster printed in Serbia during the construction of Saint Sava temple (Храм Светог Саве), Serbian Orthodox church located on the Vračar plateau in Belgrade. It is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world and ranks among the largest church buildings in the world. The church is dedicated to Saint Sava, the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church and an important figure in medieval Serbia. Poster is actually reproduction of fresco from the church of Ascension, monastery Mileševa in Prijepolje (circa 1225). In this monastery the body of Saint Sava rested for full three and-a-half centuries, from 1237 to 1594.
