The map was originally a part of Meyers Konversations-Lexikon, a major encyclopedia in the German language that existed in various editions, and by several titles, from 1839 to 1984, when it merged with the Brockhaus Enzyklopädie.

Condition: Old folds, some minor tears along the line of folding, stains due to aging. Stamp by the previous owner on the back.
