This beautiful Leaf is handwritten in medieval script, and brightly colored on parchment. It came from a book of hours from northern France from around 1480. It has 22 handwritten lines of brown text ruled in red. The capitals are gilt, and there are images drawn of strawberries, campus leaves, and flowers; which are hand colored in Rich blues, greens, and reds, over a vibrant gilt background. The 16th line on one side has a few letters that are faded. The letters and coloring of the rest of the leaf are clear and bright. It is a great example of a 15th-century French illuminated manuscript
