This manuscript is a very detailed religious work on the sanctity of marriage. An excerpt from the beginning lines of this work- Of Marriage. Let us proceed to the marriage, under the auspices of God’s Spouses. Broken of this different order from what is usually yours. Some like it from the origin of marriage, and the nature of the scourge it will be from the betrothed. Written by an unknown author in Latin, dated 1719.

Bound in contemporary thick paper covers, with manuscript titles to the spine. With a full colored example of a family tree that was used during these times to educate and avoid inter family marriages.

In Very Good condition with staining and shelf wear to the covers, bumped corners, and slight fade to title on spine. Inside there is some minor staining throughout, with the worst being a damp stain to the top of the last half.
