This nearly post-incunable first edition of Dionysius Carthusianus’s Luculenta Iuxta Ac Compendiaria in Acta Apostolorum Exegesis from 1532 offers a deep theological and mystical commentary on the Acts of the Apostles.
Bound in lightly tooled pigskin, the book features woodcut illustrations and borders, along with a full-page woodcut of the Virgin Mary.
With provenance from prominent bookseller Ernst Konrad Stahl, the book is in very good condition, with heavy shelf wear to the boards and some annotations and stains throughout, making it a unique and valuable addition to any collection of medieval theology.
