This book is a description of ancient Russian icons, purchased by the Church and Archaeological Society and given to the Museum of Kyiv Theological Academy in 1875. Every important icon in the collection has a detailed chapter dedicated to it.

Binding: Original cloth binding with giltstamped spine. Signs of wear on both panels. Front flyleaf missing.

Condition: Pen inscriptions on some pages, foxing on most pages, pages 87 to 90 partially detached, signs of reparation between pages 152 and 153.
