The Return of The Moccasins Signed Association Copy

$149.98

Charles Plymell published, printed, and designed many underground magazines and books with his wife Pamela Beach, a namesake in avant-garde publishing.

An important person to know as a writer during the Beat generation and so forth.

Plymell was also influential in the underground comix scene, and helped fund and create Zap Comix.

This book provides an education in the difference between the Beats and Hippies, and provides insight into the tumble onward life of poet Charley Plymell’s early adulthood, presented as a work of creative fiction.

Raw in its depictions. Contains marvelous odes to the most unexpected groups of people from the Beats to the Wichita farmer, to pork and bean factory workers to unionize dock workers, native Americans, and his sister Betty all of whom he appreciated for whom they were artists, workers, and all just people surviving as best as they could.

This book belonged to Charles Plymells personal collection of books and was signed by him on the title page. Fine Condition.
